Reform Architecture for 'Innovation & Traditional Values' in Buckinghamshire

Reform Architecture was established by Philip Tann BA (Hons) Dip Arch RIBA in 2001, he is a member of and registered with, both the Architects Registaration Board (ARB) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). Both organisations have codes of conduct which require high professional standards to be maintained and these are at the forefront of the ethos to which the practice aspires.

The practice is enthusiastic and has a wide experiece in various fields and genres of design and has consistently focused on all areas of conservation (both energy and historic building related) since its formation, but above all it treats all the work it deals with in a highly professional and responsible manner. Our clients' (both residential and commercial) have a uncanny habit of returning to us time and time again. Even those who sometimes decide not to appoint us, have subsequently gone on to recommend us to others, as they didn't receive the quality of service from their designers that they subsequently discovered we consistently provide to ours. On analysing historical figures, between quotes and instructions, almost 7 out of every 10 potential clients (68%) we visit end up using our services and furthermore nearly 1 in 5 of the instructions (18%) we receive are from clients who have returned to us for further work. These are very impressive statistics and are clearly achieved through a combination of great quality of service, efficient turn-around and a reliable, competitively priced package for the services we provide.

Based in the Chilterns the practice covers a radial area of 10-15 miles beyound its core, including Thame, Aylesbury, Tring, Great Missenden, Berkhamsted, Chesham, Amersham, The Chalfonts, Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield, High Wycombe, Marlow, Stockenchurch and beyond for more significant sized projects. We provide a free initial consultation for all the specific areas and catchment mentioned above.

We take pride in absolutley eveything we do from, carefully listening to our clients to help develop a suitable brief and gain a clear understanding about how the various building elements need to perform, to the internal spatial and external composition of the design, through to selection of materials and elegant detailing. All of which is then carefully recorded and if required developed into detailed drawings, schedules and specification ready for the tendering and construction phases of the project.
